About Me
My Story
I’ve had the privilege of calling Whatcom County home for my entire life. It’s where I met and married my wonderful husband of 36 years, and together, we've raised three incredible sons who have grown up in this supportive community. Outside of my work, I find joy in nature, gardening, and creating art, but most of all, I cherish the time spent with my family.
Before becoming a clinical mental health counselor, I spent 15 years working in academic and social settings, supporting children and adolescents facing cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges. In 2016, I felt called to serve in a different way, volunteering as a support officer with Community Crisis Care, where I worked alongside first responders to provide crucial support during times of crisis.
I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in February of 2020. Shortly after graduating, I began working at a community clinic while also building the foundation for my private practice, which officially launched in July 2020. In May of 2021, I made the decision to focus fully on my private practice, where I’ve been dedicating myself to supporting individuals on their healing journeys ever since.
